“Growing up I played several sports and I know the influence coaches can have on athletes and the lessons they can teach them. I believe it's crucial for athletes to learn the values of sportsmanship, commitment, and overcoming hardship, all the while appreciating and respecting the game(s) they adore. My goal is to provide each player with the support they require to realize their greatest potential on and off the field.”
When Jeff is not on the baseball diamond, you can find him enjoying the company of great friends, spending time with his family, mountain biking, or in his latest endeavor of training for a half-marathon.
Coach Beaupre is a co-founder of the Rocky Mountain Baseball Club. Jarame currently resides in Highlands Ranch, CO, with his amazing wife, Michelle, and their two sons, Brady and Blake. A Colorado native, Jarame was a three-sport athlete throughout most of his high school career. He enjoyed playing football and wrestling for three of his four years in high school, but baseball was always his true passion. In June 2000, he was selected to the Colorado Top 40 High School Amateur Game held at Coors Field before beginning his collegiate career at Lamar Community College in Lamar, Colorado.
During his two seasons at Lamar, he contributed to an impressive team record of 105 wins and just 15 losses. In 2002, he helped guide the team to a #3 national ranking and a 4th-place finish in the JUCO World Series. That year, Jarame posted a 1.42 ERA over 25.1 innings pitched, striking out 41 batters while walking only 6. He left Lamar in 2002 tied as the all-time leader in pitching appearances, with 40.
Jarame continued his collegiate career with Drexel University for one season before finishing at the University of Delaware. As a starter at Delaware, he threw the seventh no-hitter in school history in a 13-0 win over the University of Hartford on March 17, 2004. That season, he was named Louisville Slugger National Pitcher of the Week and earned conference honors. Jarame was awarded the 2004 University of Delaware Pitcher of the Year, finishing with a 7-2 record and a 3.07 ERA over 88 innings pitched, with 73 strikeouts and 31 walks. He also led the team with two complete games pitched. After college, Jarame signed a professional contract with the Canadian American Grays, an independent baseball team in the Can-Am Association, but retired shortly after due to injury.
The love for baseball burns like a flame—it never truly fades with age. For Jarame, that passion was reignited when he began coaching his two sons. He has since discovered a new purpose in coaching, sharing his love for the game and igniting that same passion in the youth of our community. When not on the diamond, Jarame enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his beautiful family.
